The Hayloft at Caecrwn is delightfully situated with breathtaking views of the
Brecon Beacons and Pen-y-Fan in particular. It is located on a quiet
smallholding with chickens, ducks, geese, coloured sheep, British Guernsey milking goats
and
outdoor Oxford Sandy & Black pigs.The Hayloft offers 5-star self-catering accommodation to sleep up to 4, with one double and one twin bedroom.Grocery boxes of delicious home-produced/ local food (including bacon, sausages and burgers from our own pigs) are available with notice. Packed lunches can be catered for by arrangement.

The spacious open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room is well equipped with all
modern facilities, including a ceramic hob, double oven, fridge, microwave and
filter coffee maker.

The sitting area has a "squishy" sofa and chairs - just right for relaxing
after a hard days walk or trek around the local sights. Digital television and a radio/CD player will help you unwind following a relaxing bath or shower. There is ample parking and a private balcony with breathtaking views. (Undercover parking for bicycles is available by arrangement). A payphone allows you to keep in touch with the outside world and a utility/drying room, with washing machine, ensures your comfort regardless of the weather. Bed linen and heating inclusive.

Sorry, the Hayloft is not suitable for pets. Non-smokers preferred. (Please note that full week bookings normally run Friday to Friday to enable us to attend local Saturday Farmers Markets with our produce. Please ring to discuss if this presents a problem).
In HIGH SEASON, the Hayloft provides luxury self-catering accommodation.
During the LOW SEASON we also offer weekend Basic Pig-keeping Courses
including 2 nights B&B, 2 evening meals and lunch on Saturday (Special Rates)

Directions:
Located 4 miles North West of Brecon just off the B4520. Grid Reference SN 002 317. Between the villages of Battle and Pontfaen.
From roundabout at junction of A470/A40 take road into Brecon,
pass over the river bridge and take a sharp left turn signposted Cradoc,
(immediately after the bridge)
opposite the Boar's Head Public House.
Then follow the directions to Cradoc.
Once in Cradoc go through the village following the main road sign posted
Battle, Pontfaen and Merthyr. Travel through Battle until you come to a
junction - follow the signs for Merthyr Cynog take the 2nd farm turning on left
after the junction you will see the Caecrwn sign at the top of the driveway.
Proceed down the access road to a wooden farm gate with a post box alongside.
Go through this gate and proceed to the bottom of the drive.
