Looking for the ideal spot for peace and tranquillity? Consider this working family farm nestling in the Black Mountains within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Enjoy true Welsh hospitality in this 18th century farmhouse, offering period furnished non smoking en-suite bedrooms with clock/radio and beverage trays. Comfortable lounge with garden views, colour T.V. full central heating and cosy log fires.

Relax in our cottage style garden with spectacular views of the valley and mountains. There are many delightful walks on the farm, and in the neighbouring woodland, owned by "Woodland Trust". Also direct access to common land leading to the Black Mountains.

Full hearty Breakfasts always offered served in beamed dining room boasting original inglenook fireplace with seperate tables. We serve our own free range eggs, homemade bread and preserves.and locally sourced produce, There is also a lighter option on offer. Guests can also purchase our own hand crafted sheeps cheese made on the farm, an ideal present to take home from Wales.

Places of interest, A fully restored water mill with eco friendly cafe and riverside walks will be opening May 2011, situated in the centre of Talgarth on the river Ennig. A short distance away is Hay-on-Wye, Llantony Abbey, Some very scenic drives, Langorse Lake, The small town of Chrickhowell and the Market town of Brecon in the heart of the National Park.

Double room 2 sharing £32-£34 per person per night including Breakfast .
Single. £40 per night.

Our farm is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our aim is to farm in a sensative way to maintain this landscape.

continue up the street to a junction turn right into Church Street
then take the second left junction signpostedPARK WOODS
which leads to the farm. After 1.5 miles along a country road,
Lodge Farm is 1st. on the left.
